Yerang Moon is a Korean interdisciplinary artist based in Brooklyn, NY. Her work explores the emotional and psychological dimensions of human relationships through painting, sculpture, and installation. Positioned between abstraction and figuration, her practice embraces ambiguity and anonymity, using layered materials and repetitive gestures to reflect on memory, identity, and perception.

Moon holds an MFA in Sculpture from Pratt Institute and a BFA from Seoul National University. She is a Fulbright Scholar and has received awards from the Moon Geumrye Foundation and the Sinyang Cultural Foundation. Her work has been shown in exhibitions across the U.S. and South Korea, including at Pen + Brush (NY, 2025), The IW Gallery (NY, 2025), A Space Gallery (NY, 2025), ARTS 14C (NJ, 2025), Studio In Factory (NY, 2025), One Eyed Studios (NY, 2024), and the Mora Museum of International Art (NJ, 2024). She has participated in residencies at the Cellar Artist Run Residency (NY, 2024) and L.a Studio Residency (PA, 2025), and her work has been featured in Hyperallergic, Tussle, Canvas Rebel, and Artsy, among others.

문예랑 (1999, 서울, 대한민국)는 개인이 어떻게 집단을 이루는지에 대한 의문을 바탕으로 삶의 다이내믹에 대해 탐구한다. 또한 작가는 인물의 가시적, 비가시적 요소들을 회화와 조각, 설치 작업을 통해 은유하며 개인과 사회의 복잡한 관계들을 조명한다. 작가는 2024년 8월 Jersey City의 Mora Museum에서 개인전 “Solid or Liquid”을 열었으며, 국내외 다수의 단체전시에 참여하였다. “Lineage and Latitude”, The IW Gallery, 뉴욕(2025); “Stochastic Drift”, Studio In Factory, 뉴욕(2025); “Next Chapter”, Gallery Marie, 뉴욕(2025); “Bolster Arts Benefit Auction”, Pen + Brush, 뉴욕(2025); “Inside/Out”, Dock 72 Gallery, 뉴욕(2025); “Marks”, A Space Gallery, 뉴욕 (2024); “Presence/Absence”, One Eyed Studios, 뉴욕 (2024); “980617-2”, 레인보우 큐브 갤러리, 서울 (2019); “X 가 X인 동시에 X가 아닌”, 우석갤러리, 서울 (2019). Cellar Artist Run Residency (2024) 와 L.a Art Residency Program (2025)에 입주 작가로 선정된 바 있다. 2021년 서울대학교에서 조소 학사 학위를 취득하였으며, 2025년 미국의 프랫 인스티튜트에서 석사 학위를 취득하였다. 신양문화재단(2020), 문금례 장학재단(2021)과 Fulbright Foundation(2022) 에 장학생으로 선정된 바 있다.
