Yerang Moon is a Korean artist based in Brooklyn, NY. Her practice spans painting, installation, performance, and sculpture, investigating how microscopic material structures parallel collective narratives and social formations. By reconstructing surfaces, Moon translates cycles of fragmentation and reassembly into visual form. Moon holds an MFA in Sculpture from Pratt Institute and a BFA from Seoul National University. She is a Fulbright Scholar (PY23 GSP) and has received awards from TSA LA (Solo show finalist, LA, 2026), ARC Gallery (Solo show finalist, CHI, 2026), Homies (Highly Commended, USA, 2025), the Moon Geumrye Foundation (KOR, 2021) and the Sinyang Cultural Foundation (KOR, 2020). Her work has been shown in exhibitions across the U.S. and South Korea, including at Pen + Brush (NY, 2025); The IW Gallery (NY, 2025); A Space Gallery(NY, 2025); ARTS 14C (NJ, 2025); Studio In Factory (NY, 2025); One Eyed Studios (NY, 2024); the Mora Museum of International Art (Solo show, NJ, 2024); She has participated in residencies at the COPE NYC (NY, Present), L.a Studio Residency (PA, 2025) and Cellar Artist Run Residency (NY, 2024), and her work has been featured in White Columns Artist Registry, Art Spiel, Hyperallergic, Tussle, Canvas Rebel, and Artsy, among others.
