Casting Ribs is an installation work with an attempt to materialize the immaterial. 

I put a pile of earth on the floor and placed a round mirror holding a spoon of water on top of it. 

From the mirrored ceiling, a transparent acrylic panel is suspended by a rope just above the pile of earth. 

The panel is a cast of earth, a thin image of land, lightly lifted into the air.
